Here's Our Catalog Of Summer Programs!

Harness The Power Of Classical Training!

Think much faster! Research far more efficiently! Be far more persuasive in speech, debate, school essays and thesis papers! Gain the element of surprise in tournaments! Position yourself to promote the common good!

At the heart of everything we offer is a triune of self-paced, online courses. These classical critical thinking courses--Novice, Intermediate and Advanced--are the mainstay of the Institute. They are meant to be studied in succession. You can hone the techniques of these three courses in a variety of settings, such as, our Debate Camps, Model UN Camps, and Model UN and Model Congress Conferences. Also we can show you how to apply these techniques to Policy, Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas and Congressional Debates.

Our (online) American Classical Forensics League for grades 9 to 12 resumes this September! It will dramatically exceed the benefits of the conventional forensics circuit but cost not a dollar more.

  • Classical techniques imparted, no
shortcuts taught as elsewhere. A bit more upfront labor pays off nicely!
  • Learn to distinguish between the filters of information (think tanks, academia, media) and the real data.
  • Subject matter expertise included.

The Middle School Division (grades 6 to 8) of the American Classical Forensics League also resumes in the fall and also promises much more!

  • Conventional technique is taught first, then the classical way is introduced.
  • Beginners are shown where the professional expert gets his or her ideas from and take the first steps toward independent thinking.
  • Our debate resolutions are more stimulating than elsewhere.

This online Public Forum (PF) Debate Camp for rising grades 9-12 boosts novices and veterans alike. Live sessions build upon the Intermediate Critical Thinking Course.

  • Start with PF (conventional) training.
  • The Intermediate Course offers top techniques of the Roman elite!
  • Novices spend 8 hours and veterans spend somewhat less before the camp begins. Both benefit from the 35 hours of live coaching, guided research, formal debate and critiques.

This Model UN Camp builds upon high school history and introduces you to the realm of international relations and economics and better yet imparts life-long skills with which to shape your world.

  • Classical Critical Thinking and Public Speaking (including the "basic" speech structure) is taught.
  • 2 international crises.
  • 35 hours of class.

  • The classical way is then introduced.

This Advanced Camp draws from an elite cross-section of American forensics and from those who aspire to greatness whether as tournament champions or, more importantly, as sophisticated independent thinkers. You gain the element of surprise in competition and you learn to see world affairs from "the mountaintop" of truly multiple-perspectives.

  • Group sessions harness the overall power of classical training.
  • Breakout groups apply this power to  preferred formats.
